Workshop Information
Workshop location:
Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), at the Pavillon Alexandre-Taché. [Map of Campus]. Note: The Pavillon Alexandre-Taché is the big complex off of Alexandre-Taché Blvd. The workshop will take place in the location marked with a "C" on the map. Use door number 6 to enter.
Priscilla Rasmussen, the AMTA business manager, will be at the registration table on site from 8:00a.m. to 3:30 or so. CAASL3 Workshop: Registration at UQO campus is 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Workshop Starts at 9:00a.m.
Transportation to campus: There are buses at 7:40, 8:10; 8:38; and 8:55. The bus stop is about 1 block from the front of the hotel. Please meet the volunteer in front of the Chateau Laurier for a bus pass 10 minutes before your bus. We will give you directions and a bus schedule for the return trip as well.
The bus ride to campus is 13 minutes. When you arrive at campus, you will get off immediately across the street from the Alexandre Taché Pavillion where our sessions will be held.
Other logistics:
Continetntal breakfast will be provided near the classrooms from 8:00am to 9:30am. Lunch will be provided downstairs from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
Free wireless network should be available on the campus.
We ask that participants send us their presentations no later than August 25th as a PDF document (make sure all Arabic script fonts are embedded and display correctly). Please send the final PDF presentations to caasl3@arabicscript.org.
MT Summit Conference Information
If you are registered for the MT Summit Conference as well, the full program is now available at the MT Summit XII website. Note that there will be a conference banquet on Friday evening, August 28 at the Museum of Civilization.
Visa Information
MT Summit XII provides invitation letters for visa applications. To request an invitation letter, please send an email to business@amtaweb.org with your accepted paper information, full name as in your passport, affiliation, postal and email address.
